My Balkans is formed for the charitable purposes of providing support (grants and fellowships) in the fields of culture, arts and education to organizations and individuals in the Balkans and South-Eastern Europe, who are fighting for freedom of expression, social openness, artistic excellence, educational advancement and societies that promote justice and equality.

Support La Mama’s 65th season: Looking back on From The Other Side

From the East Village to the broader U.S. and around the world, La MaMa creates opportunities for cross-sector collaboration, cultural exchange, and freedom of expression. In 2025, My Balkans was honored to partner with La MaMa in organizing From the Other Side, a two-week program, Reimagining the Theatre of the Balkans, which brought some of the region's most formidable theatre to U.S. audiences. Six Against Turkey

A new play written by Jeton Neziraj and directed by Blerta Neziraj, produced by Qendra Multimedia, Prishtina, Kosovo. A theater initiative exploring the degradation of democracy and the rise of the populist-nationalist regimes and authoritarianism in Europe. Opening night on October 16, 2024 at Oda Theatre in Prishtina.
