The year 2025 was a significant and critical one for My Balkans identity, achievements and the wide-ranging impact of its work across the Balkans and – in the United States. It was also a difficult and challenging year, given the state of the global world order and everyday emerging crisis that shaped and produced domino effects on the state of affairs in the countries, areas and communities where we have been successfully active in the past. Adhering closely to our multifold mission to develop and fund projects, programs, and activities; to raise social awareness; to build relationships and alliances with individuals and various organizations around the globe; and to support societies committed to justice and equality, My Balkans organized, produced and was part of numerous events both in Europe and the U.S, with its important role of promoting freedom of expression, social openness and artistic excellence. Here is what we accomplished:
